Embracing the Joy of Delegation: How My Kitchen Remodel Changed My Perspective on Business and Life

A New Approach to a New Kitchen I recently took on a project that was a little out of the ordinary for me: a full kitchen remodel. I decided to bring in a local, female-owned company called SheBuilds to handle everything from design to construction. It was a big shift from how I’m used to doing things, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. From DIY to Letting Go: A Personal Shift For over a decade, my ex-husband and I did most projects ourselves. He was handy and enjoyed the work, so we rarely hired anyone. There were certainly benefits to that approach, but it also meant he took on a lot of stress and often put off projects until he had the time and energy.
